Future L&D Nurse

I forgot to add that in March, I accepted a Labor & Delivery RN position! I start the first week in June and I'm so excited! Its been my dream job for years and I cant believe I get to live that dream.

Its been 3 months?? wow

I cant believe my last post was february 5th! Time is flying by.

R&R is in "less than" 2 weeks!!!! I cant say the date of course, but I am sooo excited! Its finally almost here.

He will hopefully be home for both of our birthdays and my graduation. After he goes back our countdown will only be a couple months!

I haven't seen him since september and we havent spent more than 4 days together since July so I am very anxious!!!!

Graduation...hurry up!

Yesterday was the community "health fair" we had to hold. It went well, and thats one more thing I can check off my list. I passed my first exam of the semester last week also!

Now I have:
4 exams left
4 weeks of preceptorship with an experienced RN
4 careplans
5 clinicals
3 exit HESI exams
and 1 more FINAL!!

Then I will be D.O.N.E!! I'm so ready to burn my clinical scrubs. They are horrifying. Dark green top with white pants??? Really? I've done my time in those things.

Less than 100 days!

FINALLY, it is less than 100 days until R&R. I know, I know, that seems like forever still, but his R&R is in month 10 of 12.

We planned it that way so he will be home for both our birthdays, my graduation!!, and it will be sooooo close until the end and he comes home for good! In some ways, I'm sure I will be wanting him to go back just so we can get the last leg over and done with.

3 more months! I can do this, I can do this, I can do this...

Over 5 months down!

If you count PMT and Mobilization, that is. Oh well that counts if you ask me! If you count pre-d training/schools, I have lived alone for 11 months. If you only count the Stan, I've lived alone almost 4.

Is it may yet? I need some R&R and im not even deployed!
